I'm a Berlin-based gaffer, working across photography and film, with a focus on advertising, fashion, and music videos.

I'm Žilvinas Garnelis, a 31-year-old lighting designer from Lithuania with a strong passion for visual storytelling through light. After finishing my studies in Applied Physics, since 2018, I’ve been working in the lighting industry daily. I'm fluent in English and currently hold an A2 level in German.

I work with both continuous lighting and strobe, and use wireless DMX technology with programming software for lighting control.

Since 2022, I’ve co-run Raw Light Rental, delivering reliable, production-ready lighting equipment and support.
