I'm a Berlin-based lighting designer, working across photography and film, with a focus on advertising, fashion, and still life.

I'm Žilvinas Garnelis, a 31-year-old lighting designer from Lithuania with a strong passion for visual storytelling through light. After finishing my studies in Applied Physics, since 2018, I’ve been working in the lighting industry daily. I'm fluent in English and currently hold an A2 level in German.

I often work with both strobe and continuous lighting and use advanced wireless DMX technology for lighting control. Since a year now I am focusing on moving image productions and looking for films to create lighting for.

Since 2022, I’ve co-run Raw Light Rental, delivering reliable, production-ready lighting equipment and support.
