I'm a Berlin-based lighting designer, working across photography and film, with a focus on advertising, fashion, and still life.

I'm Žilvinas Garnelis, a 30-year-old lighting designer from Lithuania with a strong passion for visual storytelling through light. After finishing my studies in Applied Physics, since 2018, I’ve been working in the lighting industry daily, gaining experience across a wide range of projects. I'm fluent in English and currently hold an A2 level in German.

In my role as head of lighting, I lead teams and oversee the execution of complex setups, often working with both strobe and continuous lighting. I regularly incorporate advanced wireless DMX technology on set.

Since 2022, I’ve been co-running Raw Light Rental, a company focused on providing high-quality lighting equipment and support for creative productions.
